I hestitate to say daily, because that would really scare me. I know that there are some of you out there who are actually reading and watching my boy band posts! Which makes me happy : ) Anyhow, here is some more stuff for you guys to enjoy. I swear, I would only post something if I thought that it was good (except for that time with Hyori, while it was good.. well.. anyway). This is an older video, but I thought they looked really cute with their suits and high top sneakers. These Shinee boys continue to impress me, they are really amazing and energetic entertainers! It’s actually kind of scary. I am beginning to wonder how they perform such fast and intricate dance moves in complete synchronism.. like robots O___o either that or SM has a really strong back hand . I suggest clicking and watching in HQ for a full appreication of the little details of their performance, they totally deserve all the awards that they are winning. Here they are doing AMIGO at the “Protect Water” concert, again with a really cool “dance canon”. Pay close attention – love the fierce look from little Taemin at 2:00, MAKES ME LAUGH without fail every time – he still has some years to go. At this time, I would like to thank the mother hen, Joanna, for restoring my faith in Asian entertainment. I am nothing if not your disciple

One thing that sucks about being at home is that my freakin’ wireless won’t work here. So here I sit, crouched over a foot stool, because the only way that I can get online is if I plug my laptop directly into the router on the floor in the basement – an option that’s not really available when my dad and his smelly feet are home. Thus, when the parents are out, the children play! .. or something to that effect, whatever, I’m sure you know what saying I’m referring to.
So the truth is, while I am reading, I feel like it’s mostly because I don’t have easy access to the internet :O! Shame on me! During the year I always excuse myself from recreational reading because I have “academic” reading to do – yet I still find time to watch hours of mind numbing television every week! Okay, but tbh, it’s a little hard to go from lots of boring reading to more reading, even if it’s fun stuff. I really should start reading more. I find that usually the most difficult part is picking up the book. Once I get into something I rarely put it down for anything, even the internet or television (or sometimes sleep :O). Bah, and here I am wondering why it takes me forever to articulate myself in papers -________-; Yeah… I should definitely read more.
So, what am I reading? Perhaps another source of shame (I seem to have so many ^___^;):

I’ve had this book sitting on my shelf for 3 months, but I haven’t gotten around to it. It’s the final book in Stephenie Meyer’s Twilight series. If you haven’t heard of the Twilight series, you have been living under a rock for the past, ATLEAST, three months (sorry, I really like you but you MUST know of Twilight by now). The craziness over the movie just proves that this series has become a HUGE CULTURAL phenomenon. I wish I could show you guys the pictures from my phone, then you could see the ridiculous line-up that I stood in to watch the movie – on the night AFTER it opened. At first, I thought: “Wow this line is not so bad”, my friends and I had gotten there maybe 45 minutes early. We found the end of the line (what we initially thought was the end) some 10-15m away from the doors leading into the movie – then suddenly the girl at the “end” piped up (some 13 year old tweener P.S., which was pretty much the dominant demographic – yet another source of shame): “Sorry, it goes back there *thumb pointing backwards OUT THE BACK DOOR OF CINEPLEX*” PWNED. There was a large gap after her (I guess for fire hazards or something) followed by a mass of people lining up outside of the back door to the theatre. So, WHATEVER, we just went outside thinking that it wouldn’t be so bad, but we couldn’t even SEE the end of the line when we stepped outside. We ended up back at the front of the theatre when we got to the end, we had done a full circle of the large Cineplex – inside AND out.
ANYHOW, I DIGRESS… So while these books are definitely not adding anything to my vocab and all-around language skills repertoire (because they are written for PG TWEENERS <more shame>), they are sooooooooooo enjoyable. They make me squeal with happiness because Edward is the perfect man (boy? O____________o In my defense he’s actually like 104 in vampire years). If you are really picky about writing you will probably hate the books – still, the story is wonderful and perfect for the hopeless-romantic types. Gentlemen, you should read them too – I know you are all haters and it will probably make you cringe with disgust, but you could make your ladyfriends very happy! I’m almost scared to finish this last book because I know that once I do the series will be over *CRIES*. I have always been a huge fan of the vampire/paranormal-ish stuff, and Twilight has been a fantastic escape.
