Alright, so I owe ya!  Here are some randoms:

Starting with what I’m doing right now.  I bought these cheese block yesterday from the local farmer’s market.  I have to say, it is ABSOLUTE HEAVEN.  I am tempted to just take the block and start biting it like an apple.  I guarantee that this cheese will not be long-lived.

This is a picture of our house baby, technically maybe just my baby since I’m the only one that really cares for it.  I’m proud, not gonna lie.  I’ve never taken care of a plant in my life and I think that this one is doing quite well!  I have NEVER seen it flower this big!  It’s so pretty.  The plant itself is a Christmas cactus.. it’s a pretty unique plant.  I would never expect a cactus to flower like this.. but.. there ya go.

My housemate baked this delicious cake for all of us :D   It looks good but it tastes even better!!!  Don’t hate.  It’s okay to feel jealous ^_______________^ (I love you Kailey)

Well, funny story.  My mom called me in a panic this morning because I haven’t posted on my blog for like three days.  Wow, I know you guys love me, but seriously?  Gotta love maternal fandom and maternal instinct.  Anyway, I have held off from blogging lately because I have been really tired O_______o  and all of that blogging action last week really took its toll on me.

Might as well talk about my daily activities.  Today, Emily and I went to get our grad photos taken.  As we were both too cheap to afford the $30 sitting, we each got the special $15 grad sitting.  If either of us had gotten the $30 standard sitting, we could have taken some photos together.  It’s a shame that they scam you with every possible chance they get.  COME ON NOW.  $30?!  It pretty much evens out to like $1.00 for every picture they take of you.  I don’t even mean BUYING the picture, I mean the simple act of taking it.  Anyway, the whole situation was very uncomfortable.  I’m normally not one to shy away from photos (on a good day), but the whole event was really awkward, lol.

It was made clear to me that the photographer lady just wanted to get things done and peace out – fine with me, I couldn’t agree more.  They take you into this INTENSELY lit, white room.  I mean seriously, those lights were pretty harsh.  It was not a really great day to take pictures because I worked up a sweat on my way to the studio, and my face got pretty shiny O_________o;  again, regrettable.  When I was finally sitting on the stool, all robed up etc., I just couldn’t perform.

photographer: “SMILE real big”
C: *twitch, twitch twitch twitch*

MY FACE WAS TWITCHING LIKE CRAZY.  I just couldn’t control it.  The pressure was on.  It would take the freakin’ woman 10 seconds to actually snap the shot, and she would just do it without warning.  So you sit there, like an idiot, with a huge smile on your face.  What can you do, right?  That was frustrating.  Anyway, while they are taking these pictures of you, you can see them as they pop up on this huge computer monitor.

It was horrifying.

My huge, fake, plastered-on smile was staring me right in the face from across the room.  Good God, it was such a tragedy.  I looked as though I was smiling because there was a gun pointed to the back of my head.  You could see the fear in my eyes and the anxiety in my face.

If you want to see one of my online proofs…
